Average Chimney Sweep Prices
Most homeowners in Brighton pay between £65 and £105 for a standard chimney or stove sweep, depending on the appliance and how much soot has built up.
Prices here run above the UK average, which mostly reflects higher travel, parking and running costs in the area.
Extra work costs more: a CCTV inspection runs £100 to £170 and clearing a bird nest is £90 to £180. Many sweeps offer a discount if you book two flues on the same visit, so it is worth asking.
These are guide prices to help you budget, not quotes. Always confirm the price with the sweep before they arrive.
