Average Chimney Sweep Prices
Expect to pay £55 to £85 for a routine open fire sweep in Macclesfield. Stove and wood burner sweeps sit slightly higher at £60 to £90, since the sweep has to remove and clean the baffle and work through a liner.
Prices here tend to sit slightly below the UK average, though rural callouts can add a travel charge.
Extra work costs more: a CCTV inspection runs £85 to £140 and clearing a bird nest is £75 to £150. Many sweeps offer a discount if you book two flues on the same visit, so it is worth asking.
These are guide prices to help you budget, not quotes. Always confirm the price with the sweep before they arrive.
