Average Chimney Sweep Prices
A standard sweep of an open fire chimney in Consett typically costs £55 to £80, while a wood burner or multi fuel stove usually costs £60 to £85 because the flue liner and baffle plate need extra care.
Prices here tend to sit slightly below the UK average, though rural callouts can add a travel charge.
Add ons such as a CCTV camera survey (£80 to £135) or bird nest removal (£75 to £145) are priced separately. Ask whether the quote includes a smoke test and a sweeping certificate.
These are guide prices to help you budget, not quotes. Always confirm the price with the sweep before they arrive.
