Average Chimney Sweep Prices
Most homeowners in Bury Saint Edmunds pay between £65 and £100 for a standard chimney or stove sweep, depending on the appliance and how much soot has built up.
Prices here run above the UK average, which mostly reflects higher travel, parking and running costs in the area.
Extra work costs more: a CCTV inspection runs £95 to £160 and clearing a bird nest is £85 to £170. Many sweeps offer a discount if you book two flues on the same visit, so it is worth asking.
