Average Chimney Sweep Prices
Expect to pay £60 to £90 for a routine open fire sweep in Edinburgh. Stove and wood burner sweeps sit slightly higher at £65 to £95, since the sweep has to remove and clean the baffle and work through a liner.
Prices here are close to the UK average.
Extra work costs more: a CCTV inspection runs £90 to £145 and clearing a bird nest is £80 to £155. Many sweeps offer a discount if you book two flues on the same visit, so it is worth asking.
